why tallow based skin care?

I know what you're thinking. Beef fat, where? Ok, lets start with this. What is tallow? 

It's purified and rendered fat from organic, grass-fed and grass-finished beef that's called suet, or the leaf fat surrounding the kidneys. It's loaded with healing properties that mimic the skins structure and it has been used for centuries to heal the skin. It's not new, it's just been forgotten about over the years with our obsession over modern advancements in the skincare industry-- often causing us to leave behind the natural remedies that far surpass anything we could whip up in a lab. 

Tallow is packed full of benefits hidden inside all its grass-fed beefy goodness—blowing other creams and lotions out of the water by means of absorbency and immediate availability to the skin. It’s loaded with vitamins A, D, K, E, B12 and is known to fight off wrinkle producing free radicals which like to damage the skin. Tallow is full of the fats and lipids that are found in soft and supple human skin—making it a natural (and arguably, the best) moisturizer because of its ability to sink deep into these layers.
